Friday Nov 2
Though we may not love beetles flying around our heads, there’s no denying their striking colors and intricacy. This Friday we’ll spend the afternoon drawing, designing, detailing, and constructing palm-sized beetles using watercolors, beads, wire and heavy paper. Then we’ll put these little beauties in their own viewing boxes with clear fronts — a perfect little cabinet of curiosity! (taught by Bronwen)

Fall is upon us! Join @urban4age for a fall wreath workshop. Whether young or old(er), learning to make a hand-made wreath is a must for every back-pocket. For doors and holiday decor or as a head-piece for weddings, custumes or Grandchild fairy-play, you will learn how to make a seasonal wreath of any size. In this workshop we will make a smaller one due to time restraint but the same concept can be applied to any size! A perfect occasion for a parent/child, a Grandparent/grandchild, a friends’ morning or even a date! Fall goodies will be served!
Mondays Nov 12-Dec 10

Mondays, Dec 3 + 10
1-2 pm, 2 wks
This two week class will be a fun way to ramp up for the holidays! As always, we’ll begin class reading a book and talking about the illustrations (there’s so much to learn from kids’ lit!) and then get our hands messy as we jump into holiday projects using paint, watercolor, collage, and more! As always, we'll continue to strengthen fine motor skills through drawing, cutting and gluing, and play with color families, blending, and pattern.

Join Paint_to_posies to learn the art of painting cacti with watercolor! We will be using the wet-on-wet technique with lots of fun color mixing and layering, all to be shown and directed in the workshop. No experience necessary, but would be a great workshop to practice your skills if you have taken a prior workshop or series.
