Meeting Monthly , beginning September 13th
Come to have your senses awakened, as you work with the beautiful sights and smells of bought and foraged flora! Join Dionna of Urban Forage (@urban4age) as she creates floral opportunities. Over the course of a year the club will be making seasonal partial wreaths, geometric floral hangers, rustic floral mobiles, gift wrap wreaths for Christmas time, and more! This club is for people of all levels and interests, whether you have never arranged a single flower or you’ve been arranging all your life. Every second Friday of the month starting September 13th, 6:30pm-8:30pm. All supplies will be provided.

Come join our STEAMulating PlayDate! Amber Mitchell, founder and creator of the wildly growing @LittleIntellects IG and credentialed, seasoned teacher with over 10 years classroom experience, will provide different hands on learning activities in a play-based environment throughout the studio! With these fun activities your little one won’t even realize they are learning, growing and developing intellectual skills. Amber will also give tips and tricks for making learning fun and easy at home for all you busy mamas and papas. Best for ages 3-5 (parent involvement is appreciated).

Hey homeschool mommas, come join Wendy of @painttoposies, nature watercolorist extraordinaire, as she teaches the skills to sketch and paint in our nature journals. Come away with some practice and some tips in your hiking backpack, to carry you through this fall term of “CULTIVATED CROPS”. You are welcome to bring your own journal, paints and brushes, but is not necessary. Wendy will provide you will sample sketches, and all the instruments you need for a successful workshop. This is sure to be a relaxing, life-giving afternoon!

Monday, October 7th
Kids are back in school….It’s time for you to get into the “classroom” yourself and learn to chalk like an artist! Jac with @Yellowandlace is coming in to teach you all the basics of this really cool art. Chalkboards are great for family menus, party decor, encouraging notes to kids, family agendas, holiday messages, shout-outs, and so much more!! Let your creativity shine through this really fun and learnable skill! We encourage you to bring your own chalkboard if you can so you will get the hang of your particular size and shape. (If not, we will have chalk tag board for you to learn) We will supply all other materials plus a handout! You don’t want to miss!!
Sunday, October 6th
It’s that time of year to create anything and everything PUMPKIN!! Come join us in a clay workshop to create your own pumpkin wallhangings! We will start with the slabroller to roll out our clay. Next, it’s to the creating table we go! Each student will have a chance to create their own personal pumpkins adding embellishments and letter stamps! You can make as many as time allows!!

Fall is upon us!! Such a wonderful time to spend in the studio with friends and family to learn to draw, ink and paint fall pieces! Pumpkins, acorns, corn, squash and brown twigs; all will be laid out for you to choose your composition. We will teach you how to draw what you see, then using an ink pen and inking techniques, trace your pieces. Lastly, adding a splash of watercolor , paint your piece to make it come to life! A perfect fall art piece to have in your home for years to come or to give as a gift.

Saturday, October 26th
Join us for a creative workshop in learning how to use the medium of “Cyanotype” to burnish gorgeous silouettes of plants and wildlife on cards, paper and even fabric. This medium was developed in the 1800’s and has made a comeback in todays creative world. We would love to have you join us in creating your own cyanotype cards and a 11 x 14 that you can frame. Come with friends or with a date, select your natural materials and layouts and let the sun do it’s thing!! Make beauty to give away or to frame and keep.

Saturdays, November 2nd + 16th (2 part Workshop)
Join us for this very personal and exciting clay workshop, creating one-of-a-kind serving spoons for your self or to give as a gift(s)! You will be able to create as many sets as you would like and as time would allow.
The first week will involve forming the spoons from clay. The second workshop will involve choosing your wooden handle, inserting the clay piece using some tools, and wrapping your spoon with varied pieces of leather. There won’t be another set like yours….a cherished piece of utilitarian art.
