Summer Intro to Sewing for Kids - Week 2

Summer Intro to Sewing for Kids - Week 2

195.00

Monday, July 15 - Thursday, July 18

1:30-4:30 PM

Ages 8-12

Do you have a crafty kid on your hands? Someone who loves asking how something is made - or better yet, trying to figure out how they can take it apart? This intro class will cover everything from how to thread a machine to constructing basic 3D projects. We cover the same things that the adults do in their intro class, but catered to a younger audience to inspire instead of overwhelm.

For the summer class, we’ll be focusing on making on project that will take us through the week.

Project: Parents are instructed to select a project with their child, supply fabric and an easy pattern and we’ll take it from there.

*If you’re taking Week 1, then feel free to choose a slightly more challenging project that can be worked on for two consecutive weeks.

Tools (sewing machines, scissors, cutting mat, needles, seam rippers) will be available for use in the shop though supplies are limited, so you are welcome to bring your own as well.
