Saturdays, April 20 - June 8
Come in for a 2 hour session with full access to machines and tools with guided assistance on your project.
"Wait... define 'Guided Assistance.'"
Ok! Basically, this means that you've taken our Intro Class and/or feel confident enough take on a new project semi-on-your-own, but our instructors will be there to help you strategize, execute and troubleshoot your garment or project.
This class will cover:
- The construction of one garment — Student’s Choice!
— Discussing the pattern and planning
— Cutting/Pinning the pattern
— Construction of one muslin + alterations
— Construction of final garment
Students must provide their own fabric and pattern for this class. Plain, cotton calico will be provided for the muslin.
Tools (scissors, cutting mat, needles, seam rippers, sewing machines) will be available for use in the shop though supplies are limited, so you are welcome to bring your own as well.
